House was beautiful and spotless. It felt like our own private resort. It was close to plenty of restaurants and fun things to do. It was just a shame that 5 out of 6 guests came down with the flu! We spent a few days in bed! But we made the best of it! We are definitely coming back to do the things we missed! Enjoy!

Loved staying here! Wonderful location. Had all the outdoor kitchen amenities! Ice machine was amazing. The dock is great and we enjoyed renting paddle boards. The home is plenty big and great for families. I would definitely stay again. The only downside is the oven is not a standard oven. It’s a convection/microwave combo and is not very user friendly. We had a hard time cooking with it and getting even a frozen pizza to cook right. But if you’re not going to be baking anything the rest of the kitchen is fabulous. Hope to come back again.

We have stayed in Marathon many times. This location does not disappoint! Beautiful home, beautiful property, large pool!! We had some kayaks delivered to use and rented a boat, that was delivered to the dock. The kitchen is large and nice to cook in. The home was definitely large enough for all 10 of us. We had a great time!

This was a beautiful home in a great neighborhood. The kitchen had everything we needed — wide variety of cooking equipment and appliances. We cooked there almost every night. The combo stove/microwave took a little while to get used to, but we figured it out. The pool and water views were fantastic, and it was just a 10 minute walk to Sombrero Beach, which we really enjoyed. Took a kayak tour through the mangroves from the Beach. Location on Marathon was perfect — middle of the Keys, with easy access to the grocery store, restaurants, Bahia Honda State Park, and a 70 minute day-trip drive to Key West. Highly recommend this home.

Nice place to stay in Marathon!

Beautiful and well-furnished home! The pool area was fabulous as well. Dock and canal convenient to back yard. Overall a great stay. I would suggest a regular full-size oven, however. We were unable to cook a Thanksgiving turkey dinner for 10 people in that tiny convection oven.

Excellent home, location, and amenities!

We had a wonderful family vacation at this property. The weather was perfect which did play a part. The pool was in great shape, the dock was great for kayaking. We did not have a boat but the dock was there if we did. Great location. We biked to the beautiful Sombrero beach every day. Beds were plentiful and comfortable. The only drawback was the lack of a conventional oven. The house has a microwave/convection over which I never could figure out how to bake in. But other than that I would recommend the house.

We just returned from a week at this beautiful property. Having three generations under one roof for a full week was a priceless gift. We spent time in the pool, rented a boat to explore and utilize the boat dock, and enjoyed the terrific Florida Keys weather. Wonderfully decorated and excellent location for taking in all that Marathon has to offer. We contributed a new pack and play for those who may need it for their little ones while visiting.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Calle Ensueno. The property was gorgeous, the pool delightful, and we loved being able to have a boat docked at the site. Plenty of room for all and the kitchen was a dream!

Our family of 5 stayed at Calle Ensueno over the Christmas Holiday and had a wonderful time! The team at American Coastal Rentals was communicative, kind and extremely helpful. Our reservation, check-in, and check-out were a total breeze. Maintenance was there immediately to fix and assist with a few minor things that needed attention during our stay. This team is the epitome of professional and we can't recommend them and this space enough. By far one of the best stays I've experienced.

This place was super clean and probably the most well stocked Vrbo I’ve ever rented. We cooked alot and the kitchen had everything. We didn’t pack beach towels due to space, it had those too. Fishing rods were there for the teens to fish off the dock. Cabana club across the street for a swim. Marathon was a great choice for our stay as we “key hopped”. Highly recommend this place.

Our family enjoyed the location, canal access and open floor plan of this home. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We hope to stay again next year!

We found the home to be VERY well outfitted and livable. The only thing that we didn’t care for was having to leave! Beautiful home in a beautiful community.

The home was a great place to stay! There were a few good restaurants within walking distance and the Cabana Club had a few options as well for food. Check-in/out was an easy process. We even locked ourselves out and were able to get immediate assistance with the after hours number to get back into the house. I would recommend staying here and would love to come back again! We bought hand soap and dish soap but when we arrived there were already bars of soap and dish washer pods available to use at the home. One thing to note is that the pool/Cabana Club closes at 7pm and there are strict rules of no outside food or beverages, although they do provide unlimited water!

This house was amazing and fit our group perfectly! The covered porch was a great place to have coffee, meals and watch a rain shower. There were ample linens and kitchen supplies. We loved walking a few minutes down to the beach and cabana club where there was a full bar, smoothies, ice cream, snacks and meals available for purchase. We would definitely stay here again!

This home was perfect for my family. We put all the kids upstairs. While it is the largest bedroom, I prefer to have their clutter where I don’t have to look at it all the time. They felt like they had their own space for movie nights. We love the location. We have stayed on this same street in the past. It’s great with getting the boat in and out. Everything was as described. Highly recommend!

This place was really cute. It was quiet and peaceful. All the rooms were fabulous and the beds were comfortable. The downstairs bathroom wallpaper was a great topic of conversation with our group. ;) All in all we have a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend staying here.

Couldn't recommend this place more highly. The place itself is perfect and housed our family of 9. It is well equipped and has everything you need for a vacation home. The situation on the canal is lovely - we saw manatees and turtles from the deck, and it was amazing to watch the pelicans diving for fish in the morning. All of the communication beforehand was clear and straightforward, and made our life very easy. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back again!

The house and amenities were as described. A little miscommunication with maintenance people showing up unannounced but host was responsive. Bed linens and towels felt a bit cheap but beds and pillows were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped, pool and dock were very convenient. Even had some manatees and dolphins swim by the dock! Overall our large, multi family vacation was very nice and everyone enjoyed their space! Will very likely book again.

We had a great week at this property! The pool was warm, the home was comfortable, and the canal provided endless entertainment. We had two families, two grandmas, and an aunt all staying here comfortably. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and that was a huge selling point. The dock was great for fishing, watching the manatees, and we even had a dolphin sighting! Jerry (maintenance) came by to check the pool twice and always helped us with anything we needed. Leslie (property manager) called to check in as well. We did get out and enjoy Marathon and the Keys, but we were also perfectly content to spend entire days at the house relaxing, swimming, fishing, and grilling. This house provided lots of great memories for our family! Highly recommended!

Loved this house, perfect for a big family vacation. So comfortable with all en-suite bedrooms, nice tiki hut, dock and great view! Also loved the resident manatees! Was a great stay and also really easy to dock the 2 boats we brought!

We thoroughly enjoyed our annual family dive trip at our Coco Plum Unit 1 house! The house was immaculate when we arrived, and the rooms were spacious and well appointed. Having en suite bathrooms for each bedroom was such a treat! But our favorite part of the house was the open kitchen/living/dining area! It was nice to have enough room for the whole family to gather for meals, games and as a respite from the heat. Adults and kids alike enjoyed the pool and porch area. We especially loved the visits from the manatees on a daily basis! The house was an easy drive to pretty much everything, including all of the activities in the area. We did have a dryer malfunction while staying at the house, but they had a repairman at the house within 45 minutes of my call. All other minor things that needed attention were mentioned to American Coastal Rentals before our departure. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and we would recommend this property to anyone!

This house was well represented by the pictures online. Great location close to many restaurants, shopping and grocery store. We caught many fish from the dock and grilled our catch for dinner. Lots of marine life to see……manatees, sharks, stingray, jellyfish…….we thoroughly enjoyed the views. House was clean and spacious (nice having a bathroom per room). For those not native to Florida, please know that the mangroves surrounding this area will mean that there are lots of “no-see-ums” and mosquitoes so be sure to bring bug spray and candles to try to keep them at bay. The property managers were great and deposit was refunded within a week. Would definitely recommend this property!

The house was amazing. All bedrooms had bathrooms which made staying with multiple families hassle free. The pool and recreation space was perfect. We had manatees, sharks, and fish right off the dock almost every day. The kids had a blast! The adults had a blast!

This house is amazing! We had plenty of room for our party of 14. Two refrigerators were awesome to have. Great location, we were out in the Atlantic in no time. This house is perfect for a lot of people - we filled the house but never felt like we needed more room. It was very private, yet close to restaurants and grocery store. We rented kayaks, walked to the beach and enjoyed the private road of Coco Plum.

This property has it all for a large group. We had 14 adults and no shortage of room for all as well as privacy if wanted.....The property was spotless upon arrival and ready to host us for a week. Victoria was very accommodating and took care of all our needs during our stay. The pool and dock area are amazing as well with plenty of room for our boats. Access to the property from land or water is very convenient no matter which you choose. You won't be disappointed with this property. We already booked for next year.

We loved our week in the Keys. There was plenty for the entire family to do. The house was wonderful. Everything we needed was there. It was clean and most everything in perfect condition. Plenty of great restaurants in the area. We went fishing, rented jet skis and took a catamaran tour in Key West. The children loved fishing off the back dock!!!Our only issue was with the issue of supplying us with more garbage bags, dishwasher soap and paper products. The house is cleared of any supplies from previous renters.

This place was exactly what our families were looking for. We traveled with 2 families, ages 16-50+. Private, spacious, good fishing right in the back yard. We were interested in private, quiet, family time and that’s exactly what we got. Every bedroom had own bathroom which was a bonus. Home was very spacious and allowed everyone to spread out. There is a small beach within walking distance that is marginal with a better beach about 15 min away. We found a few good restaurants nearby and a did a lovely pontoon charter for the day, stopping at local restaurants along the way. Key west is about an hour drive if you are looking for some excitement with other lovely towns along the way. The host was responsive and easy to work with. Plus a great price. We would definitely stay again.

Awesome house with everything we needed for a large family vacation. The pool was perfect for the 6 younger kids and we loved exploring the waterfront. Close to restaurants and beaches and coffee shops but felt far enough away from the main highway. Would highly recommend.

This house was great for our group of friends. It was very clean, spacious, and overall quite comfortable. The outdoor area and pool were so much fun!

The rooms having own en-suite bathrooms were great. Any issues with maintenance were taken care of right away. Having 2 large refrigerators were a huge plus. The dock was great and lots of manatee’s. We rented a boat for a few days and kept it on the dock. I plan to have another adventure there.

We had 6 couples from our church life group spend a week in this wonderful house. I would say the stand out feature is that every bedroom has its own bathroom. Another feature that was used and well liked was the pool. Having 6 couples in one house and never feeling like we got in anybody's way. That we all had space and more space was perfect. This was a perfect property for a multigenerational family. The view out the back patio when we first entered the property was amazing. The sunsets from the front balcony and upstairs windows were gorgeous. Lots of space for 12 adults to spread out and never felt like we were cramped. The location was secluded and quiet. Highly recommend.

We so enjoyed this spacious, clean, and fun spot. We swam in the lovely pool and appreciated the pool toys. Caught fish and two sharks, enjoyed playing with 3 manatees, spotted rays and needle fish. Enjoyed watching the boats go by and the many birds! The kitchen was perfect for food prep and two fridges was a welcome sight. Everyone slept well, enjoyed their space and the balconies we wonderful places to sit and enjoy. Thank you for providing such a comfortable beautiful place to reconnect with distant family. We took a last minute trip to the Keys just to get warm in February! The check-in process was easy, just swing by the rental company and pick up the keys. The house is in a great location. The neighborhood felt very safe and the fishing is fun right off the dock! We hope this house is available when we plan out next getaway because we would definitely choose it again!

I stayed here with my family for a week. The property had a huge backyard with a dock and tons of patio space. Great for gathering, BBQ, pool and relaxing. Great location and close to restaurants, shopping etc. Views all around from house. Easy check in / out.

We spent spring break week at this beautiful house on Marathon Key. From the moment we walked in we knew it was going to be a great trip! The house was clean and spacious, check in was a breeze, the pool was crystal clear and warm! The view out the back door was beautiful! The kids loved the boat dock, fishing, and seeing the manatees swim by every morning in the canal Out the front door you could see the ocean! Just a marvelous property and area. Definitely recommend

This home is beautifully appointed with high end finishes and comfortable furniture! Located on the canal with available dock space for a boat. The heated pool was perfect for evening swims or cooling off during the day. We had a group of 14 and there was plenty of space for everyone. I would highly recommend this home due to the size and location. Walking distance to Coco Plum Beach and a short drive to great restaurants and activities. The property manager communicated well and was attentive to all of our needs.

Boat dock in the channel is perfect for multi day boat rental. Quiet neighborhood and close to restaurants. Cabana club with pool ,hot tub and bar/restaurant is a plus. Would stay here again.

Cute, nicely decorated one bedroom. We had family staying in a bigger house in KCB and this was a perfect spot for us to come and go with them. Hot tub is a perk. Awesome location for sunsets at Sunset Park. Will definitely stay again.

My husband and I stayed early November 2021. The duplex was exactly as pictured. It was very clean and comfortable. Since you are on the channel, the neighbors across the channel are very “close” so being out on the patio is lacking in privacy, but that wasn’t a big deal for us. The patio has a large fence on both sides so there is privacy from the side neighbors ( but not from the noise-there was a very barky dog on the one side). Just be aware, you will hear your neighbors when out on the patio. Again, this was not a big deal for us, but if you want a quiet private back patio area, you may not get it at this duplex. There was a friendly family staying on the other side of the duplex when we rented. We never heard them when we were inside the house, so it is quiet inside. We really enjoyed the easy walk to Sunset Park each evening. We used the Cabana club several days to swim and get drinks. We rented bikes for the week and rode to dinner , to the Cabana club, and we did a long ride down to the seven mile bridge ( we wanted to ride out to Pigeon Key, but the old bridge is closed for repairs-and has been for 4 years). We also visited Key West ( 1 hour 15 min drive ). Overall, very nice place to rent and we would rent it again!

Overall it was ana amazing little place. Perfect for what we needed for the week. There was a few A/C issue but Leslie jumped on it immediately and was corrected by the end of the day.

This place was everything we expected and more! Excellent location, great house, and very clean. The canal/dock are wonderful any time of day and the house is just the right amount of space. We were both working during our stay and never had a wifi issue. It is one of best spots we have had in a long time. Hope we get to visit again! The only downside was there was the propane for the grill was empty when we tried to use it. We refilled the tank and they reimbursed us the cost, so this was a minor issue. Perfect stay!

The check-in process was easy and fast. The boat ramp isn’t too far and the trailer parking in the city lot is pretty straight forward, although I’d recommend having two people for this. The house was clean, the community was quiet, and the bed was so comfortable! We really enjoyed our stay and plan on returning!

We had a wonderful vacation in Key Colony Beach! Visited Marathon for our 30th wedding anniversary. Our duplex was perfect! It was very roomy, very clean and perfectly decorated. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed (and some things we didn't even know we needed). We ate all our meals in the airy screened in porch. We used the hot tub every night...steps from the back door. Had cocktails on the deck overlooking the canal...waved to all the neighbors and boaters. Everyone was so friendly. Enjoyed the Cabana Club so much. Nice pool, hot tub, beach, bar, restaurant, rest rooms and staff!! We even walked there a couple of times (only .7 miles from our duplex). Made sure to visit Sunset Park and sing along with the regulars to the sunset! Had a nice meal and cocktails at Havana Jacks, right next door to the Cabana Club. Very fun!! And, American Coastal Real Estate was great to work with. They answered all our questions. And, even called us to make sure everything was going well!

We loved this little place on the canal. House was very clean and accommodating. Nice pool to cool off in after a day of exploring the Keys. Neighbors were very kind and more than willing to tell us about the area and things to do. We definitely plan on returning to Key Colony/Marathon and would love to stay here again. We rented both units (P-37 & P-38) for Mini Season. Both properties were immaculately clean and very inviting. The location relative to Vaca Cut is perfect, not too far, but just far enough. Renting both units gave privacy for my family as we were vacationing with friends. The pool was clean, cool, and refreshing after long days on the water and the large open dock gave our family plenty of room for outdoor activities. We love everything about these properties and we will definitely be renting them again in the future!

Great place in a nice central area.

Everything was fine overall. The inside of the house was lovely, the kitchen was very workable, the TVs all worked well, as did the wifi. I also used the washer and dryer a couple of times, which was very handy. And the location was fine - so glad there was a stop light on US1 and the causeway - very hard to turn left otherwise. And Sunset Park was beautiful and only a little over a block away. If the patio furniture was nice and comfy, we would rent it again.

Small unit but set up well. Great outdoor space. All our time was outdoors in the sun or in the pool. Grill for cooking was nice. Great neighborhood for riding bikes that we rented. Would come back again.

My family and I stayed at this location at the end of August and absolutely loved it! The house has plenty of room, not to mention a private pool, which was the deciding factor when settling on this location.

This place was comfortable and decorated nicely. It was everything we needed as a family of four. The master bed was too soft for my liking. The other beds seemed comfortable. The bathrooms were a bit small. The kitchen was well equipped. The pool heat was nice, but it would’ve been nice if the light worked. The dock was nice and we enjoyed catching fish in the canal. We saw a shark and a manatee in the canal over the course of the week, along with boats moving about, kayakers, etc. Santa even came by on a boat one day. The pool and dock area felt private and comfortable. It would be nice to have more seating in the living room. Key Colony Beach is peaceful and quiet. All in all, for the price, it was pretty good and the host offered early checkin at no cost and was responsive when we had questions.
