House was as pictured and location is great! We loved the screened in porch and pool with tiki hut - a resort-like setting to ourselves. We rented kayaks and paddle boards to go out from the dock and it would perfect if you have a boat. Linens, towels, and kitchen stocked, but as other reviewers mentioned you will need to purchase supplies if you are there for the week (TP, paper towels, detergent, spices, etc). Furnishing and decor was nice and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay!

This house was Amazing! Beautiful backyard with dock. Fun pool. The tiki hut adds something special. The house was nice and clean. Well equipped kitchen for Thanksgiving dinner. The location is perfect. I love Marathon for family trips and this part of the island is the best to stay in. I hope to stay again in the future!

Nice place! Beautiful back yard with pool and outdoor eating areas. Showers were very clean! Plenty of beach and shower towels. Main road less then 5 minutes away! Beds are very firm! Had minor issue with grill (host was advised). Sadly no long mirror for the girls to check out their outfits!

We had a wonderful week in Marathon and this home was the perfect home away from home. Great location, quiet, family friendly and an overall great place for our family of 4 + grandmom and pop-pop too. Our host was super responsive and provided clear check-in/check-out instructions. My husband, brother and I had a great stay in Marathon. This home's location on Sombrero Beach Road was perfect. A bicycle path was along the road, we could walk to the beach and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Minor issues were resolved quickly and the staff was very responsive.

We had a great stay at this Sombrero Beach location. Leslie was very proactive with check in and out procedures and it made our stay less stressful and easy.

We had such a great time spending time with our family. Thought we would use the beach which was a 5 minute walk but we were content with hanging in the pool. Beautiful backyard. Loved it there!

Five stars all around. The location was fantastic! 3 minute bike ride to Sombrero Beach, equal time to the market, etc. For us, the beautiful, private back yard was everything. Sparkling pool, gorgeous, thick foliage gives privacy, plenty of lounge chairs, and a huge private dock to enjoy early morning coffee & sunsets. Manatee mama & baby right at our dock! House was clean, comfortable and well appointed. We were four adults and there was plenty of room. Leslie was a very responsive host and quickly remedied minor issue with the tv. We are already planning our return. This property has it all!

The house was located right off the main road of Marathon which made it super easy to access stores, restaurants and activities. The pool was delightful and relaxing under the tiki hut was perfect. It was an amazing Marathon experience!

We loved having the pool. It was a great option to going to the beach, which was just a walk from the front door. Kitchen was great to work in. Family settled in and everyone enjoyed their week. Would stay again.

Great location! Host was very responsive with answers! House was clean and comfortable. We were out most of the time so really only there to sleep. I would recommend it. Walking distance to breakfast, coffee, dinner, turtle hospital, etc.

It was just the right location and size for our needs. It would have been a little nicer if more cleaning supplies were available. But overall we loved our experience. The house was comfortable and we saw manatees in the canal!

The property worked perfectly for us. The residential canal dock provided easy access to Boot Key Harbor and out to other water. The property representative was very professional and nice to deal with. Check in and check out was easy.

The check in process was super easy! The home had everything we needed. There were toys for the kids which was awesome!! We saw a manatee in the back canal which was super exciting for the kiddos. The 2 additional rooms have trundle beds under the bunk beds for additional sleeping arrangements. This home really used the most of its space.

Better then expectations. Clean, convenient to everything, didn't get to use boat dock, but perfect if we did. Fish cleaning area, exterior shower, new gas grill & patio furniture. Beds were better then other comments said. Definitely recommend.

Very nice property that overlooks the canal. About half way between Key Largo and Key West. House slept 6 nicely. I do think that it would be nice to have more than 2 rolls of toilet paper and cooking items (tin foil and Pam or cooking oil)…hence the 4 stars. There is a grocery store down the road.

Clean, comfortable and has everything you need! You can have your boat feet from your door. Huge advantage over a stilt house. The location is absolutely ideal. Close to waterfront dining and close to ocean and bay. Key West is easily accessible for day trips as well. The check in/out is smooth. The water access for our boat was only 6 feet from the back door! Love that!!The rental process was very simple as well as the check out.

We chose this house because it is centrally located in the Keys and it had enough beds for our 3 kids, which is sometimes hard to find. The house was clean and comfortable and we loved the back patio on the canal! I do have to say that when we called management for a few things, their staff was very responsive and quick to respond. Overall a nice clean house that was comfortable and in a great location to explore the Keys!

Leslie was very quick to respond which would be very helpful. The neighborhood is really quiet despite perhaps the somewhat intense noise of the neighbor's heat pump. Despite this, it was a great stay in this beautiful house, clean, well equipped and furnished, ideal for families. The pool (heated on request) was a big plus. Very nice view of the canal! We enjoyed the proximity to shops, restaurants and other family activities and the feeling of safety of the place. We'd go back.

Two couples stayed here. The house was super clean, nicely decorated, and really had everything we needed to make this a great stay. We were right on Sadowski Causeway and close to the Cabana club. We were also close to KCB pickleball. The private pool was perfect as we paid to have it heated. We docked our boat in the back on the canal and stored our trailer in the trailer storage lot. We would definitely stay again.

We had the best time in Key Colony. We brought our boat and the dock and fish filleting station was perfect. The was nice and had everything we needed. We'd love to go back.

Our stay was wonderful! Key Colony is a quiet and peaceful community. Our house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for the first couple days. The sheets and towels were soft The beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to go back soon again!

We were a group of six adults who spent a week in this absolutely beautiful home. The home was fully equipped with everything we needed. The management group was very helpful and responsive. We enjoyed swimming in the private pool & watching the manatee and different birds make their way up and down the canal. The home is conveniently located to the Publix grocery store & many restaurants. There just are not enough words to describe how great our vacation was. Looking forward to returning!

House was beautiful and spotless. It felt like our own private resort. It was close to plenty of restaurants and fun things to do. It was just a shame that 5 out of 6 guests came down with the flu! We spent a few days in bed! But we made the best of it! We are definitely coming back to do the things we missed! Enjoy!

My family had an amazing time in Marathon. House was amazing in many ways! Beautiful interior/exterior. Dock, ice machine, and fish cleaning area are a big bonus.

Loved staying here! Wonderful location. Had all the outdoor kitchen amenities! Ice machine was amazing. The dock is great and we enjoyed renting paddle boards. The home is plenty big and great for families. I would definitely stay again. The only downside is the oven is not a standard oven. It’s a convection/microwave combo and is not very user friendly. We had a hard time cooking with it and getting even a frozen pizza to cook right. But if you’re not going to be baking anything the rest of the kitchen is fabulous. Hope to come back again.

We have stayed in Marathon many times. This location does not disappoint! Beautiful home, beautiful property, large pool!! We had some kayaks delivered to use and rented a boat, that was delivered to the dock. The kitchen is large and nice to cook in. The home was definitely large enough for all 10 of us. We had a great time!

This was a beautiful home in a great neighborhood. The kitchen had everything we needed — wide variety of cooking equipment and appliances. We cooked there almost every night. The combo stove/microwave took a little while to get used to, but we figured it out. The pool and water views were fantastic, and it was just a 10 minute walk to Sombrero Beach, which we really enjoyed. Took a kayak tour through the mangroves from the Beach. Location on Marathon was perfect — middle of the Keys, with easy access to the grocery store, restaurants, Bahia Honda State Park, and a 70 minute day-trip drive to Key West. Highly recommend this home.

Nice place to stay in Marathon!

Beautiful and well-furnished home! The pool area was fabulous as well. Dock and canal convenient to back yard. Overall a great stay. I would suggest a regular full-size oven, however. We were unable to cook a Thanksgiving turkey dinner for 10 people in that tiny convection oven.

Excellent home, location, and amenities!

We had a wonderful family vacation at this property. The weather was perfect which did play a part. The pool was in great shape, the dock was great for kayaking. We did not have a boat but the dock was there if we did. Great location. We biked to the beautiful Sombrero beach every day. Beds were plentiful and comfortable. The only drawback was the lack of a conventional oven. The house has a microwave/convection over which I never could figure out how to bake in. But other than that I would recommend the house.

We just returned from a week at this beautiful property. Having three generations under one roof for a full week was a priceless gift. We spent time in the pool, rented a boat to explore and utilize the boat dock, and enjoyed the terrific Florida Keys weather. Wonderfully decorated and excellent location for taking in all that Marathon has to offer. We contributed a new pack and play for those who may need it for their little ones while visiting.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Calle Ensueno. The property was gorgeous, the pool delightful, and we loved being able to have a boat docked at the site. Plenty of room for all and the kitchen was a dream!

Our family of 5 stayed at Calle Ensueno over the Christmas Holiday and had a wonderful time! The team at American Coastal Rentals was communicative, kind and extremely helpful. Our reservation, check-in, and check-out were a total breeze. Maintenance was there immediately to fix and assist with a few minor things that needed attention during our stay. This team is the epitome of professional and we can't recommend them and this space enough. By far one of the best stays I've experienced.

This place was super clean and probably the most well stocked Vrbo I’ve ever rented. We cooked alot and the kitchen had everything. We didn’t pack beach towels due to space, it had those too. Fishing rods were there for the teens to fish off the dock. Cabana club across the street for a swim. Marathon was a great choice for our stay as we “key hopped”. Highly recommend this place.

We found the home to be VERY well outfitted and livable. The only thing that we didn’t care for was having to leave! Beautiful home in a beautiful community.

The home was a great place to stay! There were a few good restaurants within walking distance and the Cabana Club had a few options as well for food. Check-in/out was an easy process. We even locked ourselves out and were able to get immediate assistance with the after hours number to get back into the house. I would recommend staying here and would love to come back again! We bought hand soap and dish soap but when we arrived there were already bars of soap and dish washer pods available to use at the home. One thing to note is that the pool/Cabana Club closes at 7pm and there are strict rules of no outside food or beverages, although they do provide unlimited water!

This house was amazing and fit our group perfectly! The covered porch was a great place to have coffee, meals and watch a rain shower. There were ample linens and kitchen supplies. We loved walking a few minutes down to the beach and cabana club where there was a full bar, smoothies, ice cream, snacks and meals available for purchase. We would definitely stay here again!

This home was perfect for my family. We put all the kids upstairs. While it is the largest bedroom, I prefer to have their clutter where I don’t have to look at it all the time. They felt like they had their own space for movie nights. We love the location. We have stayed on this same street in the past. It’s great with getting the boat in and out. Everything was as described. Highly recommend!

This place was really cute. It was quiet and peaceful. All the rooms were fabulous and the beds were comfortable. The downstairs bathroom wallpaper was a great topic of conversation with our group. ;) All in all we have a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend staying here.
