We rented both units (P-37 & P-38) for Mini Season. Both properties were immaculately clean and very inviting. The location relative to Vaca Cut is perfect, not too far, but just far enough. Renting both units gave privacy for my family as we were vacationing with friends. The pool was clean, cool, and refreshing after long days on the water and the large open dock gave our family plenty of room for outdoor activities. We love everything about these properties and we will definitely be renting them again in the future!

Great place in a nice central area.

Everything was fine overall. The inside of the house was lovely, the kitchen was very workable, the TVs all worked well, as did the wifi. I also used the washer and dryer a couple of times, which was very handy. And the location was fine - so glad there was a stop light on US1 and the causeway - very hard to turn left otherwise. And Sunset Park was beautiful and only a little over a block away. If the patio furniture was nice and comfy, we would rent it again.

Small unit but set up well. Great outdoor space. All our time was outdoors in the sun or in the pool. Grill for cooking was nice. Great neighborhood for riding bikes that we rented. Would come back again.

My family and I stayed at this location at the end of August and absolutely loved it! The house has plenty of room, not to mention a private pool, which was the deciding factor when settling on this location.

This place was comfortable and decorated nicely. It was everything we needed as a family of four. The master bed was too soft for my liking. The other beds seemed comfortable. The bathrooms were a bit small. The kitchen was well equipped. The pool heat was nice, but it would’ve been nice if the light worked. The dock was nice and we enjoyed catching fish in the canal. We saw a shark and a manatee in the canal over the course of the week, along with boats moving about, kayakers, etc. Santa even came by on a boat one day. The pool and dock area felt private and comfortable. It would be nice to have more seating in the living room. Key Colony Beach is peaceful and quiet. All in all, for the price, it was pretty good and the host offered early checkin at no cost and was responsive when we had questions.

This home was very accurate in the description. It was perfect for 2 grandparents and a family of 3 with a 13 year old boy. We rented a boat and fished daily. The property had a fully stocked kitchen, grill, cleaning table, bait/fish freezer -Truly everything we could possibly need. We had the hot tub and pool heated, worth it! This is close to everything, easy walk to sunset beach and Beautiful neighborhood. We plan to return to KCB and would absolutely reserve this home again. Thanks so much!

We are a bunch of fishermen in this house is a great property. Very clean upscale all the amenities couldn’t be happier.

The layout of this house was perfect - big open kitchen and family room with the master on the opposite side of the house as the other bedrooms, plus my own sink with counter space in the bathroom! We played corn hole and enjoyed the pool after a day of snorkeling and boating. The back yard feels private with the foliage.

We love staying in Key Colony Beach! It's easy access to the water. It was our first time staying with our one year old granddaughter & she loved the boat & the water! This house is roomy & a great stay for families.

First I want to start by saying that this was typical 2020. The time I had booked for rental a tropical storm was due to skirt the Keys. The property manager got with the owners and they were able to push back my reservation a few days so we didn't get affected by the storm. That was overly generous and was more than I could ask for. The house was in great shape and had everything you could ask for. The back yard and pool were perfect for relaxing after a day of fishing and grilling up the fresh catch. There were lights and hoses everywhere so it made cleaning your boat, gear, and fish really easy. It was a short walk to Sunset Park where you can watch the nightly sunset which was a great surprise. I highly recommend this property and will definitely be visiting again.

This home was in a great location near many restaurants and stores to get whatever you need! Pool was great and well maintained. Canal was very peaceful. We were worried that boat traffic would be loud but honestly could barely hear them and there was not much of it. A couple of things that would have made our stay a little nicer would be. A TV in the master bedroom and a bathroom on the same level as the pool. Otherwise everything was in great condition and I would definitely recommend!From Management Company: a TV has been ordered for that room 5-27-26

The home was almost perfect for our family (4 adults and 2 children) stay. We were able to cook a couple of meals with the stocked kitchen and outdoor grill. There were plenty of towels for showers and pool use. Our favorite feature was the outdoor patio, pool and canal. We did request and pay for the pool to be heated and it was a very comfortable 90 ish degrees or so. The patio is sunny until evening but there is plenty of shade under the tree near the lot line. We had manatee visit at least 3 times during the week which was a great experience! There is a kayak rental nearby which delivered to the home so we had kayaks over night to explore the canal and neighborhood. Marathon has a couple of nice beaches to explore and multiple restaurants and shops. The only disappointment was that for the quality of the home and cost of the rental the adult beds were not comfortable, especially the upstairs queen.

Great location for families. Has a nice heated pool and fully appointed kitchen. It’s located on a private inter-channel location and they had all the fishing gear for their guests which was lovely.

We had a great week at this property. The space was perfect for us and our adult son. We used the pool every day and appreciated the beach towels and fishing poles. We had one issue with some cleaning but management was very responsive and handled to our satisfaction. We will be back and plan to take advantage of dock and get a boat for the week!

Good communication and accurate description

My girlfriend, daughter, son in law, granddaughter and her boyfriend stayed for a week. Very clean cool home with a great pool and was very private and pleasant. I told the property manager that I would be trying to book the home in the future. Stayed at many different places in marathon before but we all absolutely loved this home above all of the others.

We had a great week vacation! This house is great for the whole family. The location is great with easy access for boating and local restaurants. The house was very clean, fully equipped in the kitchen for cooking meals and plenty of towels for the pool and the bathrooms. Our family had a great time and would definitely come back again.

The house was delightful and well equipped to prepare meals ! A very welcoming feel to the house and if renting I would suggest a bug spray for the no see ems that do appear when more humid and less windy. Like a mosquito bite but not really visible.

Very nice property located centrally in the keys on a quiet street without a lot of commotion. House is well decorated and comfortable, a good place to stay for a week or two. My only suggestion for improvement is to provide more common toiletry items like soaps, paper towels, etc.We would absolutely stay here again.

This place was phenomenal. Beautiful pool, any amenity you could need, room to spread out and the warmest pool and spa. We enjoyed our time here so much and hope to visit again next year! This was our first time staying on Key colony and we enjoyed the community so much. The outdoor market was fun and it was great for our kids to bike around without worrying about their safety.

We've stayed in Key Colony Beach for years when visiting for fishing and lobstering trips. This is by far the nicest house we've rented. The price is steep for the Keys, but well worth it for our group. Highlights: Superior dock with two fish cleaning tables, sturdy cleats, multiple hoses, and good lighting. Commercial ice machine is a game-changer! Beautiful, well-equipped kitchen. One canal in from Vaca Cut and the house is less than halfway down the canal. We will definitely be back to this property.

Beautiful property with great floor plan and a beautiful outdoor space. A quick walk to sunset park as well. We caught fish on the dock and had a manatee visit. Very clean and an efficient check in process. It would be great if you could leave keys at the property on check out but that’s simply as a matter of convenience that doesn’t have any impact on the stay.

Lovely house with beautiful landscaped yard. Though it is not large it feels private and lovely. Lots of great spots to read, play a game, sunbath or enjoy the pool.

Can’t say enough about how beautiful this home is! The little touches with this rental added so much. We really enjoyed the pool toys, freezer fully stocked with bait, and the convenience of the indoor and outdoor ice makers. We caught snapper right off the dock and had a manatee swim up for a visit 3 times during the week. Just a magical stay for our family.

Our first trip to the Florida Keys was awesome! This place had perfect accommodations and location! The home was clean and well maintained! Place looked liked it was recently renovated right before we checked in with modern finishes and appliances.Everything was very clean and organized.Although their is limited view of the ocean from the front deck, it still was extremely pleasant and beautiful to sit outside.Cabana club was a nice bonus too with listing. We spent a lot of time their during our stay. Very kid friendly place.All in all we were pleasantly surprised on the quality and cleanliness of space.

We had a very nice stay with our family of four. The duplex apartment was comfortable, clean and convenient to the Cabana Club, Key Colony and the greater town of Marathon. Plenty of dishes and the pots and pans and kitchen knives were much better quality than most vacation rentals we’ve experienced—that was cool. Having a dishwasher and laundry inside the unit made life easy. We chose the Key Colony location because of it being smack dab in the middle of the Keys. We took a nice day trip to Key West, but found we also had plenty to explore in Marathon while having a few carefree days in between to relax Cabana Club’s pool & private beach. Plus, our two college-age boys played a few games of pickleball with others they met next to the Key Colony golf course. We met several neighbors who all affirmed that our choice for staying in Key Colony Beach was a great one. We rented kayaks for a day from Keys Kayaks for a reasonable price—they delivered them for us early to Sombrero Beach. Rented a boat for a day from Capt. Pip’s to go snorkeling out at the reef—they were very professional and dependable (not every business has it together in the Keys— many seem lackadaisical in their operations). Leslie at American Coastal Vacation Rentals was very professional & communicative via email, answering questions before we arrived and confirming everything once we were there. The only minor improvement might have been an ability for keyless checkin and checkout. It would have been nice to not have to go to the office to pick up our keys or drop them off (office is approx. 3.5 miles away). Dropping our keys off at 3:00am before driving to MIA to catch our flight home wasn’t our favorite part, but…first world problems. Overall, we had a nice time at this location and would stay there again.

Loved that it had easy beach and pool access at Cabana Club and that it was in the middle keys so we could do easy day trips East and West. There was even a small but lovely view of the ocean. The bathrooms were pretty dated but functional. Otherwise it was a very clean and cute condo. Beds comfy with a variety of pillow types to choose from. I would definitely stay here again.

Visited from Canada on a fishing trip with a a group of friends / coworkers. The space and location was perfect for our group. Excellent spot for families and friends to enjoy the keys and all it has to offer. Being able to dock our behind the house was a huge bonus ! Don’t hesitate in booking this space.

The house by itself is a vacation dream, but add Key Colony and the canal and the Cabana Beach Club and it is paradise.

Much larger home than the listing looks and is well- appointed with Nautical furnishings and artwork. Being able to walk to Cabana club to swim in the ocean or the pool was a huge plus. Canal provides easy access to Ocean and gulf. Our trip was A+

The number of guest beds, the view, the pool/beach amenities, this is highly recommended for a group. Our party was 7 and it was a comfortable accommodation. We enjoyed having a relaxing place to go back to after our days out sightseeing. Having a grill was plus we ate in a few nights! The pictures give you a great idea of what to expect. Leslie communicated before check in and when it was time to check out. I received a call the day prior to checking out and since we had to leave so early in the morning they helped to make it easier for us. Many thanks!

We stayed here for a week with 5 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of room for all of us. The property was beautiful and we loved the clubhouse with the pool and beach access! This neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. Honestly, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this location. Beds are comfy with good mattresses which was a huge plus for us. We were lucky enough to have awesome neighbors check in beside us. Easy access to the ocean on the boat and good dock! Cabana Club (Pool) was right at the end of the street, so it was convenient for the babysitter and kids to go to while the adults fished. We will be back!!
