Working with Leslie and the staff at American Coastal Vacation Rentals was effortless—from booking to departure! The home was exceptionally spacious and met all our needs! The location for all we wanted and needed to do was perfect! Wonderful docking for our boat. The swimming pool was a delightful retreat after a day on the water. Pool was wonderful.

Amazing trip! The house is the perfect size for a large family or 2 small families. We were 3 adults and 4 kids. The location is perfect and we were greeted most evenings by a family of manatees off the dock. Plenty to do and see in the area. Leslie was a wonderful host, very responsive and accommodating. We will be back!

We absolutely enjoyed our week here. Although we had record heat this week, the house was very cool and comfy. We had a manatee visit us a few times at the dock. Perfect location to take the boat to the Atlantic or Gulf side. Even had great fishing from the dock. We loved our time here and would be happy to return!

This was one of the best vacations that our family has ever experienced and this rental home was a big part of that! The house is beautiful and ultra clean. The pool was great for cooling down and relaxation, and the dock with the tiki hut was fantastic for hanging out on. We even had a manatee visit us multiple days for drinks of fresh water from the hoses! From the dock on the canal, we saw spotted Eagle rays, French angelfish, small barracudas and, twice, a shark circling at the top of the water (thankfully this was after my husband took a swim off of the docks!) We rented a boat for the week, which was a fantastic bonus for us. Fishing and snorkeling were so easy this way and the sunrises and sunsets from the water were breathtaking. This home is perfectly set up to accommodate the water loving lifestyle and we will definitely be back!

Expect a wonderful, spacious house on a beautiful canal. We loved sitting on the dock under the tiki hut playing cards and relaxing.

Great location, close to Key Colony amenities and very nicely maintained and furnished house. Everything from appliances to the grill were in great shape and all the cookware you’ll ever need to cook in. Dock and back patio are terrific and the ice machine in the washer/dryer room was awesome bonus. Perfect setup for fishing and boating activities or just enjoying Key Colony and Marathon.

The location is perfect, the house is roomy and clean, the dock was nice. Fun to fish off dock and to rent kayaks. FL Keys Kayaks were AMAZING and helped us with discounts and were friendly (https://www.keykayak.com). We did a sunset cruise with Mermaid Marathon (https://www.marathonmermaid.com), and they were amazing and fun too. Sunset Grille was a hit, as was Sparky’s and Island Fish Co. Expensive, however, it was Spring Break week. But do recommend the house as it’s 4 bedrooms so two families can definitely share!

Beautiful and spacious. Cute decor and landscaping! Very private and peaceful inside and out. We had 8 adults. A little crowded with two bathrooms for 8 adults, not family. The bedrooms are roomy and beautifully decorated and comfy! I would definitely book again! Having an ice machine in Marathon is definitely a Plus Plus!!!! Great location for fishing ocean or gulf side. Perfect distance to Vaca Cut

We had a great family getaway at this cosy and comfortable house. The pool was great, the dock was perfect for fishing and there were nice areas to eat both inside and outside. The rooms all were nicely furnished and everything we needed to have a great stay was provided. The kitchen is fully outfitted for those who like to cook. Key Colony is great location with plenty to do. We would happily return again.

This house had everything we needed and more, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, private outdoor area and great fishing from the dock. This is by far our favorite rental in Marathon. The rental agency was fantastic to work with. You do have to pick up keys at their office, which is less than 10 minutes away. e are planning our next trip.

Walking into this home is like walking into a home of your own--everything is immaculate with all the items you may have in your own house. All the "little" things were helpful-like readily available beach towels and throw blankets. Beds were comfortable with higher end sheets and kitchen had everything you would need. We love KCB and this is the BEST home we've stayed in thus far. Location couldn't be more perfect and we will definitely book again!

We had a great stay. The house had everything we needed (and more) and was truly very very clean. It was uncluttered and roomy. We loved the pool and the dock was perfect for our boat.

Leslie was super communicative and helpful! Everything from booking this home, checking in and checking out was a breeze! I appreciate that on vacation. The home was well decorated and CLEAN. The throw blankets in the living room were a nice touch. The pool area is absolutely serene. It was so private and peaceful, a true oasis. The Florida room was beautiful to eat in. The trundle bed was perfect for my 2 year old. I was thankful for the lightweight bedding because the home was a little warmer than I would have preferred, due to the AC limitations being 73 degrees, but I’m a Florida native so I know the AC’s are working overtime to keep us comfortable in this astounding heat. Overall, the home was amazing and beautifully furnished. Lots of toys in the garage for your kids to play with in the pool or take to the beach. Access to Inch Beach was also an amazing perk, it was lovely and peaceful there! Thank you again, Leslie!

Nice place have private beach a short distance away. Really liked master shower which had multiple shower heads. Light switches were labeled. Lots of beach towels. Plenty of glasses silverware and plates. Well stocked. Hope to make it back someday.

The house is a beautiful home and the area is exceptionally beautiful. We paid to heat the pool and it was worth the extra. We would swim in the evenings and the water was perfect. There are couple of great beaches within walking distance and a clear view of a gorgeous sunset from them. The roads are set up to go walking, running, or biking and everyone was very friendly. Key Colony Beach has several bar and grills for a fun evening to relax by the water. Depending your location, some can be easily accessed by walking or a bike. I hope to return soon.

This place was our own island paradise . A short walk to sunset beach every night, was a real treat.

This home was absolutely perfect for our one week getaway in the Keys. It was so clean and spacious. Everything we needed was available for us at this property - even a friendly manatee who hangs out in the canal! The home is in a great walkable neighborhood with a nearby beach and park/pier. Overall, highly recommend!

This was the first time we stayed on a canal and not a beach. We really had a great time. We fed the marine life off the dock and seen a stingray, a family of shark and 100 pound grouper. The place is darling and in a super cute neighborhood. We had 2 beaches within walking distance, and sombrero beach is about 10 min. The decor is really cute and Everything is very cozy and clean. We have been to the keys 6 times or so and this was our favorite place to stay.

Leslie's home was perfect for our family of 7 (actually 3 households). There were 5 adults and 2 children. The kitchen was great for cooking meals and the rest of the common area was very spacious. The sun room was also a great addition to the common area. The children enjoyed the pool and used it each day for a few hours. The home allowed us to have great family bonding time away in a very relaxed setting. It was always nice to come home to such a great place after venturing out on the Keys.

Wonderful experience, highly recommend. From the start Leslie had great communication. We were well informed of location, check in process and house information. When we arrived, everything was exactly like we seen in the pictures. The house was set up very well and very welcoming. Loved the outside area as well, very private and plenty of space for hanging out. Bonus game room below was great also. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you’d need for your stay. Ice maker on refrigerator didn’t work but they had a smaller ice maker on the countertop to use. Keurig, regular coffee pot, toaster, blender, everything one would need. A bag with dish soap, laundry soap and essentials was set out on the counter for us. During our stay I needed to contact Leslie for a few things and her response was timely and friendly. Would book this house again for sure if we were staying in the area.

We had a fantastic time. The pool was such a treat, plus the Jacuzzi. The location couldn’t have been better. Accommodations in the house were superior, comfortable, and all you could ask for.. we would highly recommend this house for anyone wanting to enjoy the keys in a prime location, especially for boaters. Huge plus that the weather was perfect as well and lobsters were plenty full. Thank you thank you.

Wonderful stay.

This is our third year staying here. Once again, we loved every minute of our stay. This home never disappoints for us. It’s relaxing, private and so peaceful. From morning coffee on the balcony to floating around in the pool, it’s the perfect place for us. This year we finally got to watch manatees while having our morning coffee. They hung out for a couple of hours, and we were enthralled with them. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation! Hope to be back next year!

Great location on the Island.

This was our third stay. The house features a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances. The outdoors is as beautiful as the pictures. We had a manatee visit us in the canal, used the pool a lot and also used the pool table. We will probably be back next year.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The privacy of the pool was perfect! My son loved the "game room". It was a very quiet neighborhood and close to everything. We all said we would stay here again.

This is our second time staying at this home. It has become our favorite. The outdoor area really makes this property great. Our family loves the pool and tiki hut! The property management team is easy to work with and make the reservation process a breeze.

Pool is great. Beds are comfortable. There’s some noise because it’s by the airport but not terrible. The cabana is nice for getting out of the sun and relaxing. Only downside with the cabana and all the foliage is the mosquitoes but tiki candles fixed that.

This is the second year in a row we’ve stayed here, and once again, it was great. The weather was warmer when we were here last year, and we spent more time at the beaches. The weather was beautiful this year but it was really windy, and the ocean water was too cold for hanging out and snorkeling. This place really has been perfect for us. It’s clean and comfortable on the inside, and has everything we’ve needed for relaxing, cooking meals or fixing awesome pool drinks. The pool (heated) was great last year and extra perfect this year with the wind and cold ocean waters. It is money well spent to pay for the pool to be heated. The way things are set up outside gives you a sense of privacy. Although neighbors are close, you feel like you’re the only ones around…whether it’s in the pool or playing a round of pool (or foosball). We spent a lot of time either in the pool or on the patio watching the fish in the canal and the birds eager to get to them. It really is one of our favorite

Another successful family vacation and a week in Paradise! This was the first trip to the keys for my grandchildren and they loved it. They named the house the manatee house because of our little visitors we had in the evening time. The house was perfect and just as described. I have been coming down to the keys for 10yrs and this was by far one of my favorite houses. Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise with us, a lot of memories were made the week!

The pool and backyard were are favorite spots to relax and be together. The house was comfy and the kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. A short walk and drive to many wonderful things.

We had an amazing week in Marathon! The house was everything we needed for our family of 6! We enjoyed family breakfasts, afternoons by the pool, the easy walk to Sombrero beach to watch sunrises, and sunsets! Everything was in close distance, Publix at top of street, many restaurants and places to explore! We spent a day in Key West which was an easy drive, a day snorkeling, and a fishing charter. Lazy Days South Restaurant cooked the fish we caught and it was amazing! We also enjoyed some putt-putt at Porkys! The weather was beautiful! The heated pool was so enjoyable and we enjoyed our daily visits from the iguanas! The communication was easy and quick if we needed anything! We really had a wonderful trip!! Very nice house 5 minute walk to sombrero beach. owner responds quickly. lots of beach towels. we didn't have a boat but the pier in the channel was a nice place to sit and watch fish or jelly fish swim by and enjoy your coffee in the morning. the outdoor living space is very utilized pool was clean. place is perfect

This house was a perfect fit for my family and friends during our Spring Break! The location was wonderful! We were walking distance to Sombrero Beach which we noticed would get very busy and difficult to find parking. It also has a Publix at the end of the road and a light to go out to the main road which was such a help with how bad traffic can be. The pool area was private and a beautiful landscape for family photos. We even had a daily visit from a local iguana which was fun to see! The property management was extremely friendly, attentive and quick to respond to any of our questions! Check in and check out couldn’t have been easier. We had 4 adults and 3 children and this property was exactly what we hoped for!

Great property, well managed, and we thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay. Marathon is very much a fishing and boating village, so that is the primary attraction. Florida Keys Steak and Lobster and Sparky's Landing are restaurants to consider. Nor'easter Fishing charter was superb.

Was an excellent home and property for my family of 6 to enjoy. Loved 5 minute walks to Sombrero beach, coffee on screened porch each morning, and poolside cookouts in the evening. Landscaping is peaceful.

Lovely indoor and outdoor space. Kids loved the resident iguanas, screened porch was fantastic when gnats came out in the evening, interior was spacious and airy, proximity to Sombrero beach was perfect (and what a gorgeous beach it is!). Had a rental boat so the dock was key and we enjoyed every bit of our stay at the house and our and about in the beautiful Florida Keys. Sombrero Reef was incredible!

The house was perfectly located. Close to the beach and any shops or restaurants you’d need. The privacy of the backyard was fabulous. Perfect size home for our family of 5 with bait freezer, stocked kitchen utensils, pool area and dock. Linens/pillows also a bit dated. None of this however was enough for us to not rent this place again!

Condo is exactly as advertised. We had a wonderful and quiet stay. Having coolers, umbrellas and extra beach towels was a great bonus.

Second year in a row staying at this beautiful property. Very well equipped and spacious condo. Has everything you could possibly need. Very quiet. Nice large pool. Convenient location to everything Marathon had to offer. Able to take public transportation from Marathon to Key West. No hassle and only cost $1.50!

Parking was ok.Renting was very easy

This is an older property but in a great location with beautiful view of the ocean. You'll feel like you are actually sitting on a cruise ship because the ocean is almost directly under the balcony. Marathon has many wonderful restaurants very close to the condo. Pool was nice. Our dryer did not work all week but the property manager was so good communicating about it really can't say that was a negative. Surfaces, especially the floors, were very clean. Overall we would definitely return to this unit.

Loved the beach themed decorations throughout the home and the view was fantastic! We saw a pod of dolphins the first morning very close to shore. We did try to snorkel once from the beach but didn’t see a lot. Others seemed to have better luck with that one. Overall our stay was very relaxing and we would return!

Despite the chilly weather (had to turn on the furnace, sadly), we enjoyed our stay. The view is magnificent and the beach is lovely...filled with tiny shells and well maintained. There are some wonderful restaurants in Marathon; FL Steak and Seafood was our best meal in the Keys. Thank you for great week in a quiet, spacious condo.

The end of October proved to be the perfect time to stay. Amazing weather and very few people at the building provided the perfect setting to recharge the body. The unit has everything included in the kitchen that one could ask for (loved the owner's choice of stoneware) so meal prep was very easy. The bedrooms were very nice. The 2nd bedroom is darker being on the side away from the ocean with great closet space. The front (oceanside) bedroom is amazing for the sounds of the ocean and it's very large. Beds are very comfortable. Leslie makes the entire process easy for reserving and checking in and even calls you during your stay to see if there are any issues. Julpha in the office is also very knowledgeable and great to work with. In my mind that is great customer service. Marathon is the perfect spot being only 45 minutes or so from Key West making frequent day trips easy. If you don't plan on going to Mallory Square in Key West for the sunset go to Sunset Grille and Raw Bar at the start of the 7 mile bridge. The 2nd best place for viewing the sunset in the keys with great food and drinks. If you've never stayed in Marathon before, this is a great place to relax at and use as your base. The Sea Turtle Hospital should definitely be on your to do list and join the local FB group to get more ideas from the locals who know the area best. Relax and recharge at Coco Plum-you won't be disappointed!

Everything was perfect but the seaweed!

We loved the location of our condo. Very neat, clean and comfortable. We spent many hours on the deck hoping to see dolphins. The seaweed was a bit of a distraction, at least it wasn’t too smelly. We would definitely come back.

We had an incredible week at this condo. Amazing corner views on the top floor made it seem like we were literally staying on the ocean. Relaxing pool right on the beach. We loved taking walks on the long sandy beach; not many placed like that in the keys! This is a special spot, would love to stay there again! Thanks!!

This place was exactly what we were looking for: Old Florida with modern amenities and positioned perfectly in the middle of everything the Keys has to offer. Yes grass washes up on the beach, but a guy comes by daily on a large tractor and does his best to clean it up in the mornings. It's a natural occurrence...and we came down here to experience mother nature. The pool is nice and clean and right on the beach. The views from the balcony are stunning. The condo itself was recently renovated, so everything in it is new. It was beautiful, comfortable for 6 of us, and provided us with more than just a place to rest our heads. It honestly felt like home. The beds were comfy, as was the rest of the furniture in the house. The balcony furniture could use an upgrade, but still wasn't bad. You can tell that the property as a whole is still cleaning up from the hurricane less than a year ago. There are some things that need to be done, but they are actively working on it. We spent a week here with our small boat. There is no room for trailer parking, but there are a couple of nice marinas on the same street as the condo. In the mornings I would bring my boat around and anchor it right off the condo on the beach. This made everything so easy. We would walk down to the boat and take off for the morning to snorkel and dive Coffins Patch (which is only 4 miles directly off of the beach there), come back for lunch and a quick dip in the pool, and take off again for some fishing or a sunset cruise. The location for a boater is great because you can pull right up to your condo and unload/reload for whatever you wanted to do next. Access to the gulf side is just a couple of canals down. A fuel dock, dive shop, bait & tackle, and everything else you need is only a couple of minutes away...by boat. We stayed during the mini lobster season but the condo remained quiet and relaxing, away from all of the commotion that usually follows the mini season. We had so much fun that we rolled our deposit over for a stay there next year. If you are coming down to the Keys looking for a resort, move along. If you want Old Florida charm and relaxation with everything the Keys has to offer right out of your backdoor, then this is a great place to stay. I recommend this place to anyone, and am already planning and looking forward to next year's stay here.
